Accompaniment for walks in Neuhausen

We are looking for volunteer companions who would like to take our residents out into the fresh air. Our care home is nestled amongst lush greenery in the beautiful Nymphenburg-Neuhausen district. Right outside the building is Dom-Pedro-Platz, and nearby are the Nymphenburg Palace Canal, Grünwaldpark, Taxisgarten and Taxispark.

Spending time outdoors has a positive impact on our residents’ wellbeing and quality of life. The opportunity to enjoy nature, breathe fresh air and get some exercise contributes to physical health and emotional well-being. Such outings also offer a wonderful change of pace for wheelchair users who are no longer able to move about independently.

We are looking for responsible and empathetic people who would like to spend some of their time with our residents. No specific knowledge or experience in long-term care is required; simply an interest in working with older people. You will receive individual induction training.
