To keep someone company whilst they eat

Our residents are always delighted to have visitors over for a chat over coffee and cake – to have a natter about this and that, and to be offered a second cup of coffee now and then. As a volunteer, you can bring great joy to our residents in the afternoon or even in the evening at dinner time.

In the residential area, you’ll be assigned to a permanent team, and our volunteering co-ordinator – who’s also on hand to help you – will ensure you get to know the home, the residents and your role. So, if you’re a sociable person with a sense of humour and your heart in the right place, we look forward to hearing from you.
